Furbolg[1][2] is the language of the furbolgs. The Stillpine furbolg have their own unique dialect of furbolg, which uses a special symbol matrix, which is understood through symbology. The written language is made up of various primal markings and etchings, which include owls, bears, wolves and stags.[3] There are several common branches of Furbolg, but the Winterpelt Furbolg speak a strange dialect that is different from all of them,[4] while the nearby Rustpine furbolgs have no difficulty speaking with the Dragonscale Expedition.

Sonova Snowden's family has been studying furbolg language and culture for generations.[4]

Players can learn to speak Furbolg in-game by completing the Winterpelt Furbolg questline in the Azure Span. To track the progress of learning the language the player can mouse over the Languages spell in the spell book.
