Fyrakk Assaults

Fyrakk Assaults are a feature added in patch 10.1.0 where Primalists take advantage of Fyrakk's chaos to take over an area of the Ohn'ahran Plains or Azure Span. An elite world quest tasks players with a few tasks to clear out the camp. Players are initially introduced via  [70] Fyrakk's Forces from an image of Kalecgos at Loamm in Zaralek Cavern.

Loot

The first time players clear an assault each week, they will receive a sack of Draconic Treasures.

Quests award and hostiles drop Suffused armor at various Season 2 upgrade levels, anywhere from Explorer 2-4 (ilvl 379-385) to Adventurer 1 (389) to Veteran 3-4 (408-411) to Champion 1 (415). The world quest for the suffusion camp awards 67 [Flightstones] and either a  [Drake's Shadowflame Crest], good for Veteran/Champion gear or a Veteran 4/Champion 1-level Suffsed armor piece.

Cinderwind

Suffusion Camp: Cinderwind

Igira says: Zaqali! Crush these puppets of the Aspects. I require every last suffused ingot and molded metal for our bargain with Fyrakk. Do not let these thieves interfere!

 [70EWQ] Suffusion Camp: Cinderwind takes place at ^[74, 71] in the southeastern part of Ohn'ahran Plains. Players are tasked with:

• 5  [Wards of Igira] collected (Optional)
• Suffusion Crucible looted
• Crucible guardian slain
• 5  [Wards of Fyrakk] collected (Optional)
• Suffusion Mold looted ^{[74.3, 72.3]}
• Forgemaster slain

Friendly characters present vary, and include Baine Bloodhoof, Mayla Highmountain, Khanam Matra Sarest, Somnikus, Tigari Khan, and a number of unnamed Ohn'ir Guardians and Emerald Dreamwarders. Three quests are available each time the event runs, from a set of:

Suffusion Crucible

After picking up the quests, get to killing. Generic djaradin and Primalists will drop a  [Ward of Igira]. Take five to a Suffusion Crucible:

<Raw heat and shadowflame energies are suffusing the materials within. It would require special gems to survive interacting with such a furnace.>

 Consume 5 [Wards of Igira] to extract the materials being suffused.
This will alert nearby powerful enemies.

Looting the crucible awards 2-3x  [Ward of Fyrakk] and spawns a Crucible Guardian, which can be one of:

• Half-bound Rageflame
• Flamebringer Cauterizer, Flamebringer Elementalist, and Flamebringer Rageblood
• Flamebringer Shaman astride a Burned Ravager
• Rampant Shadowflame

Suffusion Mold

Fend the guardian off. The guardians and other elites tend to drop a  [Ward of Fyrakk]. Get to five wards, then loot the Suffusion Mold:

<Raw heat and Incarnate level rituals are suffusing these materials into a mold, shaping them into pieces that ripple with shadowflame. Only protections created by Fyrakk himself would allow one to interact with the materials within.>

 Consume 5 [Wards of Fyrakk] to extract the materials being suffused.
This will draw attention of a powerful foe.

This awards an  [Everburning Key], of which three are needed to open the Secured Shipment chest nearby. It also spawns in Forgemaster Kraglin. Defeat him.

Secured Shipment

The Secured Shipment chest is at ^{[73.8, 72.5]} just southwest of the mold:

<Three locks seal this shipment and require keys of metal folded with everburning flame. Wards cover this chest and will alert Fyrakk upon its opening.>

 Consume 3 [Everburning Key] to unlock the shipment.

The chest contains 800, 9x  [Whelpling's Shadowflame Crest Fragment], a Suffused piece at Veteran 1/8 (ilvl 402), and 80x [Dragon Isles Supplies], and adds 5% progress to Fyrakk's Fury.

Fyrakk on the move

In the background, the Fyrakk's Fury progress bar fills up when players loot crucibles and molds. When the bar hits 100%, Fyrakk will send in a boss:

Fyrakk yells: You dare to steal from my crucibles?! I am coming for you, little worms. You will perish in flames!

Flyrakk and some proto-drakes fly across the zone in a big bubble. Should players desire an achievement, fly alongside Fyrakk and let his fire aura kill them, which awards  [Still Standing in the Fire].

Kretchenwrath

After a few minutes, Kretchenwrath spawns:

Igira says: Master of the forge! Slay these lesser creatures yourself and recover what they have stolen!

Fyrakk says: Soft! Weak! Flammable! You worms will all burn!

Fyrakk yells: Weak playthings of the Titans! Burn!

Igira says: Zaqali! You have been made to look weak! Do not make me send more of these soft Primalists to aid you.

Let Baine tank the boss-level proto-drake and stand in the green healing bubbles that Somnikus spawns. Defeat it for the  [Head of Kretchenwrath], which starts  [70] Disciple of Fyrakk: Kretchenwrath. The boss also drops 70 [Flightstones] and a Veteran-2 Suffused gear piece.

Frostburn

Suffusion Camp: Frostburn

 [70EWQ] Suffusion Camp: Frostburn takes place at ^[55, 32] in the Upper Frostlands east of Camp Antonidas in the Azure Span. Players are tasked with:

• 5 Wards of Igira collected (Optional)
• Suffusion Crucible looted
• Crucible guardian slain
• 5 Wards of Fyrakk collected (Optional)
• Suffusion Mold looted ^{[55.4, 35.2]}
• Forgemaster slain

Khadgar's bubble at Frostburn

Southeast of the world quest marker, Archmage Khadgar is holding an arcane barrier. Other friendly characters include Brena, The Blubberwall, Old Grimtusk, and Stellagosa, and a number of unnamed Cobalt Envoys, Gruff Fishers, Kirin Tor Protectors, and Wounded Tuskarr. Three quests are available each time the event runs from a set of:

•  [70] Burning Ice
•  [70] Charge of the Ottuk Brigade
•  [70] Drive Them Before Us
•  [70] Hideaway No More
•  [70] Maintaining the Barricade
•  [70] Payback's a Mammoth
•  [70] Portal Combat

Suffusion Crucible

After picking up the quests, get to killing. Generic djaradin and Primalists will drop a  [Ward of Igira]. Take five to a Suffusion Crucible:

• Flamebringer Shaman astride a Burned Ravager
• Half-bound Rageflame

Suffusion Mold

Fend the guardian off. The guardians and other elites tend to drop a  [Ward of Fyrakk]. Get to five wards, then loot the Suffusion Mold:

The Secured Shipment chest is at ^{[53.8, 33.8]} just northeast of the tower:

<Three locks seal this shipment and require keys of metal folded with everburning flame. Wards cover this chest and will alert Fyrakk upon its opening.>

 Consume 3 [Everburning Key] to unlock the shipment.

The chest contains roughly 15 [Flightstones], 80 [Dragon Isles Supplies], 800, and a Veteran-level piece of Suffused gear, and adds 5% progress to Fyrakk's Fury.

In the background, the Fyrakk's Fury progress bar fills up when players loot crucibles and molds. When the bar hits 100%, Fyrakk will send in a boss:

Shadeisethal

After a few minutes, Shadeisethal spawns:

Fyrakk yells: Weak playthings of the Titans! Burn!

No NPC assistance for this boss-level proto-drake, though there are some passive Iskaaran Healing Totems in the area. Defeat it for the  [Head of Shadeisethal], which starts  [70] Disciple of Fyrakk: Shadeisethal.
