Galar'thus mentioned to Malfurion Stormrage that he had seen his brother Illidan walking by himself into the area where Deathwing had earlier attacked both the Burning Legion and Kaldorei Resistance.[1]

He survived until the third invasion of the Burning Legion, where he was killed by the nightborne. An adventurer of the Alliance and Horde performed a rite for him.
Thalrenus Rivertree, a surviving member of the modern Moon Guard, is presumably his descendant.
