Gann Stonespire is a tauren located on the outskirts of Bael Modan in the Southern Barrens.

Background

His tribe was driven out of their village by the Bael'dun dwarves of what is now Bael Modan when they started digging for artifacts next to their village. Many of his tribe were also killed by the dwarves when the land was taken by the force led by Prospector Khazgorm of the Explorers' League.

Having already lost most of his tribe, Gann was infuriated about the slaughtering of Camp Taurajo. He decided to go on his own and leave the Horde to fully fight against the Alliance.[2] Gann led a group of like-minded tauren civilians in raiding the Bael Modan digsites. Ultimately, he was heavily wounded by Marley Twinbraid.[3] With the assistance of the player and a goblin called Weezil Slipshadow, Gann's plans led to the destruction of Bael'dun Keep. After the player delivered the news of the death of the Dwarves who had stolen Gann's tribe, friends, family, and both his homes, the tauren could now die happy knowing they had been avenged.[4][5]

Afterwards adventurers must deliver the grim news to one of his tribeman, Alto Stonespire in Brackenwall Village.

Quotes

Kneel beside me, friend. I caught a bullet during that last raid.

When the dwarves first invaded the Barrens, I contented myself with harassing their diggers and sabotaging their equipment. I should've struck a killing blow when I had the chance.

I walk this road alone, seeking ways to defend my honor and rid this land of our enemies.

What can I do for you, <name>?
