Garona Halforcen is a half-orc/half-draenei. She is Gul'dan's personal spy and assassin. Garona is the result of breeding between an orc and a draenei, most likely in a way similar to how she was conceived in the main timeline. She has been forcibly aged by warlock magics and spells have been placed on her mind to follow Gul'dan's every order.
Biography[]
On the Shadow's Trail[]
When Khadgar and Cordana Felsong locate the Shadow Council, Gul'dan escapes before he can be captured. However, he sends Garona after Khadgar, who nearly succeeds in assassinating him but is stopped and fought off by Cordana.[1][2]
Legendary Journey[]
Garona's second attack on Khadgar is after the wizard locates Gul'dan via scrying. She successfully poisons him and flees into the lower reaches of Zangarra,[3] only for the General to pursue and capture her. The antidote on Garona's person is used to save Khadgar's life,[4] and with her imprisoned at his tower Khadgar begins searching for a way to break Gul'dan's spells on Garona's mind.[5]
Garona is eventually freed of Gul'dan's control thanks to Khadgar, Cordana, and the General.[6] She then helped the Archmage and the adventurer to spy on Gul'dan as he took over the Iron Horde[7] and eventually she joins the General's Garrison as a Legendary Follower.[8]
