General is a Horde-exclusive Legacy achievement. It means the character achieved the <General> title before the release of Patch 2.0.1, after which the availability to acquire military titles was removed from the game.

• Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Changed to Legacy achievement.
  
• Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Added as an achievement.
  
• Patch 1.4.0 (2005-04-19): Added as a title.
