Gilnean Gryphons are gryphons found on the Skyfire after 
[10-45] The Battle for Broken Shore. They are ready to follow their king Genn Greymane to war.
According to a conversation between Harrison McCabe and Derek Testerman at Greywatch they are much stronger than normal gryphons. They may even be strong enough to carry a 2,000 pound cannon.
