The Gilneas Liberation Front (GLF) is a group of Gilneans locked in combat with the Forsaken in Silverpine Forest. It was created by Lord Darius Crowley after Gilneas was conquered by the Forsaken. With 7th Legion support, the front will retake Gilneas and drive the Forsaken back into Silverpine Forest. As the battle goes on, they'll eventually reach the borders of Silverpine Forest and Tirisfal Glades. It is then that Sylvanas Windrunner, Queen of the Forsaken, will ask adventurers for aid and will drive the worgens back into the south.

At some point, the GLF will use a strange tactic that temporarily confuses the Forsaken. They will use their druids in Ability racial bearform [Bear Form] to ambush Forsaken soldiers. However, this tactic will not be effective for long, as the adventurers will discover it and execute counter-measures against them.

As the battle continues, Sylvanas Windrunner will capture Lorna Crowley, Lord Crowley's daughter, and will give Darius two options; the Gilneas Liberation Front surrenders or Lorna becomes a member of the Forsaken. Darius quickly surrenders and Sylvanas allows him, his daughter, and the surviving members of the Gilneas Liberation Front to retreat.

Notes

Due to quest phasing, members of the Gilneas Liberation Front will only appear to Horde adventurers questing through Silverpine Forest.
