The Glimmering Pillar
On top of the pillar.
The Glimmering Pillar is located in northern Sholazar Basin and is bordered clockwise from the north by The Savage Thicket, The Bonefields, Death's Hand Encampment, Wildgrowth Mangal, Bittertide Lake and Mistwhisper Refuge. Like the Suntouched Pillar, Skyreach Pillar and Mosslight Pillar, it is a tall, narrow butt that rises up from the relatively flat basin floor, with a thin, elongated device hovering over it, swirling with magic. It's covered with white crystals, and flower-headed Servants of Freya sit upon its flat top.[1]
During the war against the Lich King, the Cult of the Damned tried to destroy it as they did the Lifeblood Pillar, but they were stopped by the Avatar of Freya and adventurers before they could do permanent damage.[1]
