Gnomeregan is the third pet battle dungeon. This solo scenario involves returning to Gnomeregan to investigate a surge of electrical activity within the city's depths.
Lore[]
After the events of Cut Short, the gnomes continued to reclaim Gnomeregan. For some time things were calm—until Tizzy Gearjolt and Radek Fuselock began receiving reports of electrical usage spikes throughout the city. Both reached out to Micro Zoox, a chief engineer in charge of keeping things "under control" in Gnomeregan, and he offered his help in finding the source of the surges. An adventurer was sent to Gnomeregan to help Micro with the investigation.
When the adventurer arrived, Micro seemed panicked over the situation. He explained that the city's defenses were on high alert, and that in the past few days, his Mayhem Detection Device had been giving mayhem readings beyond anything he'd ever seen. The two braced themselves and teleported into Gnomeregan.
As they arrived at the Launch Bay, Zoox noted that all of the defense mechanisms in the area had been activated. One by one, the adventurer defeated them all: a Prototype Annoy-O-Tron which blocked the adventurer's way off the platform; three elementals down below, born from the chemical remnants all over Gnomeregan; three robots probably intended to contain those chemicals; a hallway full of Bomb Bots, handily crushed by Micro's Bomb Crusher 5000; a handful of irradiated critters, including a giant Bloated Leper Rat; and the city guard bots who protected the Tinkers' Court.
Finally inside the Tinkers' Court, the adventurer found Mekgineer Thermaplugg's latest creation left as the last bastion of defense for Gnomeregan, the Pulverizer Bot Mk 6001... and saw as a suspicious night elf teleported in. The adventurer attempted to confront the night elf, but he stunned them and laughed at their efforts, jeering that they would never figure out he and his allies' plans. The night elf then approached the Pulverizer Bot, swiped a schematic from it, deactivated all of its safety protocols, and left the adventurer to its mercy.
With no other option, the adventurer fought and defeated Thermaplugg's creation. An overjoyed Micro celebrated by taking a S.E.L.F.I.E. with the formerly-fearsome pile of scrap.

Approach the Shadowy Figure. An event will play out:
- Adventurer is stunned.
- Shadowy Figure says: Back away from the robot... or I shall blow this entire facility to ruins!
- Shadowy Figure says: We have been watching you, "hero". You haven't the faintest idea what you are up against.
- Shadowy Figure says: We have a plan. One so elaborate that a simplistic plebeian like you could never hope to comprehend it!
- The Shadowy Figure walks up to the Pulverizer Bot Mk 6001.
- Shadowy Figure says: I have just deactivated all safety protocols from this unit... and took something special for us to keep.
- Shadowy Figure says: What's more, I have observed your pathetic strategy and have already predicted your next four moves. You cannot hope to outsmart someone of my advanced capabilities!
- Shadowy Figure says: I would wish you luck, but... my words would be wasted. Super Teleport, activate!
- Pulverizer Bot Mk 6001 yells: Safety protocols malfunctioning. Primary directive: protect Gnomeregan. Secondary directive: become sentient.
Final Stage - Thermaplugg's Latest Invention[]
Mekgineer Thermaplugg has left his latest invention here as the last bastion of defense for Gnomeregan. Smash it!
