The infant Go'el is the orphaned son of Durotan and Draka, born shortly after his mother's passage through the Great Gate. Stillborn and more than a month premature,[1] he was saved by a gift of life stolen from a nearby deer by Gul'dan, turning his skin green.[2]
After Gul'dan began exterminating their clan, Draka fled with Go'el, eventually placing him onto a river in a basket, before giving her life to ensure his survival. Some time later, Go'el washed ashore, where he was found by the servant of an unknown human commander.[3]
Notes[]
- In Warcraft: The Official Movie Novelization, Gul'dan saves Go'el's life simply by holding him in his hand.
- At the movie's conclusion Orgrim Doomhammer, along with Go'el are the only known Frostwolf survivors on Azeroth.
