The Great Lift pre Cataclysm.
The Great Lift was a tauren built elevator that allowed travel between the Barrens and Thousand Needles. [32, 22] However in recent times the quilboar in Southern Barrens have expanded their territory blocking the path from travelers. During the Cataclysm and flooding of Thousand Needles, the Great Lift was destroyed.
The tauren Grish Longrunner and Brave Moonhorn that once resided here have gone missing, possibly either returning home or killed by the encroaching quilboar.
