Grindle Dopplegink is a gnomish recovery specialist located in Dalaran during its stay in Deadwind Pass. The entire city had been moved by a giant Blink spell, and some Dalaran Citizens were re-materialized at the wrong place and were stuck in walls or in various other objects. Grindle was trying to help one of them.
