The now-removed [Deathlord's Lesson] and [Deathlord's Legacy] anima powers granted this talent for Unholy and Blood death knights, respectively.

Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 6 class talent (was a level 30 Unholy and level 40 Blood talent).
Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Level squish: Now requires level 30 for Unholy (was 58) or level 40 for Blood (was 75).
Hotfix (2018-08-03): The snare effect from Grip of the Dead will now correctly be reapplied to a target standing in your [Death and Decay] or [Defile] area if the snare is removed.
