Gronnlings are adolescent gronn. Once "befriended", a gronnling will happily carry its rider to their death. Gronnling scales are more like stones than true scales, as the brutes themselves seem to be part stone. Alchemists have been known to show an interest in digging up gronnling bones for research purposes.

Notes

• They are referred to as "beasts" on numerous occasions, and thus might not be as intelligent as adult gronns.
• One gronnling, Terrorfist, is the offspring of a magnaron (Kormrok) rather than a gronn.
• During the beta and early days of the Warlords of Draenor, gronnlings were often incoherently classified as either giants, beasts, or humanoids.
