Guard Shan Long is a pandaren located in Waxwood in the Jade Forest.
Before Shan came to Tian Monastery, he was a stranger to battle. During his time as a trainee, he performed adequately but was never placed in any real danger. As a graduate and a wage-earning guard, he was expected to protect his perimeter at all costs. While he could handle Greenwood sprites, the tigers in the western Waxwood were tougher. As such, he asked the adventurer to take care of them for him.[1]
When the Burning Legion invaded Tian Monastery, Shan Long relocated to the Shrine of Twin Serpents and with Instructor Myang protected several Injured Tian Pupils.[2]
