He Softfoot was a pandaren rogue and quest giver aligned with the Golden Lotus. He was known to be mute. He was killed in the destruction of the vale caused by Garrosh Hellscream's reawakening of the Sha of Pride.
Following his death, he can be encountered in the Siege of Orgrimmar raid as one of The Fallen Protectors. He remains in the scarred area where the Golden Pagoda once stood, tormented and scared at being unable to pass on to the afterlife.
