Description

The Thunder King. Dead for twelve thousand years, only to be brought back by Zandalari voice. No doubt Titan power preserved his vile corpse.

Titan power that's mine by right.

<Name>! Bring me the heart of the Thunder King. I will have it, and once it is mine, none will ever be able to resurrect him again.

Bring it to me, <class>. Bring me his cold, dead heart!

Notes

As with  [90] Fear Itself back in Patch 5.0, kill Lei Shen in the Throne of Thunder. The item will drop in all three modes: 10-player, 25-player, and Raid Finder. On Raid Finder difficulty, the heart will drop even if you already looted Lei Shen that week.

On accept:

Wrathion says: The Thunder King took within himself the powers of a Titan keeper. We must take them back.

Wrathion says: Bring me his cold black heart. We will be doing the Pandaren a favor, and the powers that we liberate will once again be put to the service of Azeroth.

On return:

Anduin Wrynn says: A chill just went up my spine!

Wrathion says: Something tells me our friend has returned triumphant.

On complete:

Wrathion says: Ahh - the heart of a king. The powers of a God.

Anduin Wrynn says: What are you doing? You're not seriously going to eat that-

Wrathion says: It is filled with Titan magic, the language of creation...

Wrathion eats the heart and goes into a trance.

Wrathion says: Oh, I see them - a million, million worlds - glittering in their perfection - but one above all others - oh -

A beacon of light surrounds Wrathion. He rises and speaks in a different tone...

Wrathion says: WE HAVE FALLEN. WE MUST REBUILD THE FINAL TITAN. DO NOT FORGET.

The light fades as Wrathion falls to the floor.

Anduin Wrynn says: What are you trying to pull?

Wrathion says: It is gone. I don't remember any of it. Oh! None of them remembered. The irony!

Anduin Wrynn says: What are you talking about? I don't trust you.

Wrathion says: You are wise not to.

Wrathion says: Champion, I need time to..."digest" what I have learned. But soon, we will take action.

The quest chain continues in Patch 5.3 with  [90] Celestial Blessings.
