Hemet Nesingwary Jr. is the son of the famed dwarven hunter Hemet Nesingwary, following in his footsteps.
History[]
He took over Nesingwary's Expedition in Northern Stranglethorn after his father left for Outland.[1] He specialized in raptor hunting and sent adventurers of the Alliance and Horde to kill various raptors.
Hemet and his group stayed in Stranglethorn during the Cataclysm and continued to focus on raptors. During the Zandalari troll invasion, he and his camp came under attack from serpents, as well as Mauti. The hunters were soon helped by the adventurers.
Years later, he accompanied his father to Nesingwary's Safari in the Valley of the Four Winds, where he hoped to move out of his father's shadow[2] and prove himself to be just as much of a big game hunter as him. Hemet Sr. ended up having to save his son from the Torjari Pit, but told Junior that he was proud of him after all.[3]
Years later, after his father decided to join the Dragonscale Expedition to the Dragon Isles, Junior decided to join him. With his father having turned over a new leaf as a wagon rider, Junior helped run Camp Nowhere within the Azure Span in his absence. Though he had arrived to the isles as a matter of exploration and not big game hunting, Junior could not resist the call of the hunt. He thus subsequently traveled to Maruukai in the Ohn'ahran Plains in the hopes of joining one of Clan Shikaar's Grand Hunts, where he was rejected due to their differing perspectives on what exactly a hunt entailed.[4] As a result, while he did respect their wishes and not join the hunts, he could be found spying on them and will comment on the hunt in question.

Sit, Pugsley! Sit!
Eh, can I help you with anything? I'm a wee bit busy at the moment.
What are you doing in the Dragon Isles?
- My da and I are here to help the expedition! He's turned over a new leaf as a wagon driver, and I'm helping run the camp in his absence.

Notes[]
- Junior was first added at the release of The Burning Crusade to replace Hemet in Stranglethorn Vale, so that Hemet could travel to Nagrand in search of bigger prey while keeping his Stranglethorn Vale quests intact. However, Junior never replaced Hemet when the latter moved on to Sholazar Basin in Wrath of the Lich King.
- Nesingwary Sr wishes for his son to "hurry up and have kids already".[6]
- According to Kravel Koalbeard, junior is a rich dwarf.[1]
