Heroes of Azeroth is the first set in the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game.

Total Cards: 380 (361 + 3 + 16)
- 361 Numbered Cards
- 114 Commons
- 115 Uncommons
- including 16 Heroes
- 110 Rares
- 22 Epics
- 3 Loot Cards
- 16 Oversize Heroes
There are 9 Starter Decks, 1 for each class. The precise contents of these starter decks are unknown when bought, as all deckboxes have the same layout, without any indication of the class of the hero contained within. Each Starter deck comes with 3 Oversized Hero Cards.
Being the very first set, Heroes of Azeroth takes place in the original World of Warcraft, before the re-opening of the Dark Portal in Burning Crusade. Nearly all heroes and allies are from the eight original playable races. Both factions have eight heroes, two per playable race and one per class playable in the original World of Warcraft (thus no shaman for the Alliance and no paladin for the Horde).
