Herrick was one of the right hand men of Danath. He helped oversee the human contingent of the Alliance Expedition which was sent to hunt Ner'zhul. After a tiring march, Herrick and Talthressar decided to mark the location and found Allerian Stronghold. It was an act to commemorate the sacrifices of the Wildhammer dwarves, who had lost Kurdran. According to Talthressar, it was also a symbol of the union between elves, men, and dwarves. Herrick eagerly partook in that morale boosting occasion, and then continued to go on and fight against Vorpil and his Cabal in Auchindoun in their continued search for Ner'zhul.

It is unknown what happened to him.
