Hide
The term hide can mean two things:
- A type of skin item usually gathered with the Skinning profession from a skinnable corpse and usable as an ingredient for mostly Leatherworking recipes.
- To try to conceal or make hidden. Also called
[Stealth].
Leatherworking hides
Most hides usually need to be processed or treated by curing with [Salt] before they can be used by the Leatherworking profession.
Hides
You get hides the same way you get skins, but the drop rate is lower. Some of the hides require Leatherworking to cure them before they can be used as ingredients for crafting items.
