High Commander Michael Goodchilde is a human located at the Crusader's Chapel in the Scarlet Monastery during 
[45] The Scarlet Assault questline. After the death of High Inquisitor Whitemane, Goodchilde took the remaining Scarlet Crusaders under his wing. He is described as a zealot, murderer, and a hardened knight who has dedicated his life to the eradication of the undead. He fell in battle against the Deathlord of the Ebon Blade, who sought to revive Whitemane as a horsewoman during the Burning Legion's third invasion of Azeroth.[2]

- Goodchilde first appeared in the Servants of the Betrayer set for the Trading Card Game. Like other heroes in the set, he has two different versions, with the first being an Alliance hero named Commander Michael Goodchilde and the second, the Scarlet Crusade-affiliated Crusader Michael Goodchilde, being a corrupted "traitor" version of him. Only the Scarlet version of the character was canonized in Legion.
