This encounter is part of the Battle of Dazar'alor raid where Alliance characters are transformed into soldiers of the Horde.

Unrivaled in their ingenuity, Gelbin Mekkatorque's inventions have been instrumental to the Alliance's attack on Dazar'alor. His state-of-the-art armor is outfitted with the latest--and deadliest--ordnance that gnomish engineering can offer.

Mekkatorque halts the Horde counter-attack using his latest weaponry and inventions.

Spark Bots protected by a Gnomish Force Shield are called in that pursue players until they're disabled. Take advantage of World Enlarger to hijack Spark Bots and shut them down.

Stage One: For Gnomeregan![]

Electroshock Strikes — Each of Mekkatorque's melee attacks inflict additional Nature damage.
- Electroshock Amplification — Each consecutive melee attack against the same target increases the damage of Electroshock Strike by 15%. This effect stacks. When Mekkatorque switches to a new target, Electroshock Amplification is reset.
Buster Cannon — Mekkatorque fires off his Buster Cannon. Players struck by it suffer Nature damage instantly, additional Nature damage every 1 sec, and their Haste is reduced by 100%. Lasts 10 sec.
Heavy Thrusters — Mekkatorque activates his heavy thrusters to Blast Off from his current location, and then Crash Down at another location.
- Blast Off — Inflicts Fire damage to players within 10 yards of Mekkatorque.
- Crash Down — Inflicts Physical damage to all players, and Physical damage to players within 12 yards.
Gigavolt Charge — Mekkatorque sticks a target with a volatile energy charge that inflicts Nature damage every 1 sec for 15 sec. When Gigavolt Charge expires, it triggers a Gigavolt Blast that strikes all targets within line of sight of the victim. In Mythic difficulty, Gigavolt Charge leaves behind a radiation zone when it detonates.
- Gigavolt Blast — The charge detonates, inflicting Nature damage and additional Nature damage every 2 sec for 30 sec to all targets within line of sight of the blast.
  - Gigavolt Radiation Zone — Gigavolt Blast leaves behind a radiation zone. Players that pass through it are afflicted with Gigavolt Radiation
    - Gigavolt Radiation — 78,553 Nature damage inflicted every 2 sec. Lasts 30 sec.
Wormhole Generator — Mekkatorque teleports all players near the targeted player's location.
- Miscalculated Teleport — A slight miscalculation leaves you freefalling about the teleport location
- Discombobulation — Your genetic makeup is scrambled after being teleported leaving you polymorphed.
Deploy Spark Bot — Mekkatorque periodically calls in Spark Bot units to seek out his enemies.
- Spark Bot — Players affected by Shrunk can tamper with Spark Bots and shut them down from within.
  - Gnomish Force Shield — Reduces all damage taken by the wearer by 99%.
  - Spark Shield — The Spark Bot is surrounded in a Spark Shield that reduces damage taken by 99% and reflects 47,608 Nature damage to all attackers.
  - Anti-Tampering Protocol — After 1 min, or if an incorrect shutdown code is entered, an Anti-Tampering Shock is triggered on the player tampering with the Spark Bot. A Spark Bot's Shutdown Code is visible to all players except the tampering player. Inputting the correct shutdown code 3 times will safely disable the Spark Bot. In Raid Finder difficulty, shutdown codes are visible to all players. In Heroic difficulty, shutdown codes are only visible to players in other Spark Bots. In Mythic difficulty, shutdown codes are only visible to players in other Spark Bots.
    - Anti-Tampering Shock — Stuns the victim and inflicts Nature damage every 3 sec for 12 sec.
  - Spark Pulse — Inflicts Nature damage and stuns all players within 8 yards for 1.5 sec. Launches a Spark Volley that strikes several random players for Nature damage.
  - Wind Up — Periodically increases movement speed and Haste. This effect stacks. When Wind Up reaches 5 stacks it grants Wound Up to the Spark Bot.
    - Wound Up — Reduces the duration of crowd control effects.
World Enlarger — Mekkatorque shrinks several players for 30 sec. Full-sized players can Trample shrunk allies, inflicting damage and stunning them for 1 sec. While Shrunk you can tamper with Spark Bots. In Raid Finder difficulty, Shrunk players can not be Trampled. In Mythic difficulty, World Enlarger causes a player to become enormous.
- Shrunk — You're tiny! Your damage dealt is reduced by 99%. Full-sized allies can Trample you, inflicting damage and stunning you for 1 sec. Allows you to tamper with Spark Bots. In Raid Finder difficulty, Shrunk players can not be Trampled.
- Enormous — You're huge! Stage Two: Evasive Maneuvers![]

At 40% health remaining Mekkatorque lifts off and assaults players from the air. Mekkatorque goes into Hyperdrive upon landing.

Signal Exploding Sheep — Mekkatorque calls down a herd of Explosive Sheep that detonate after a short delay.
- Critter Explosion — Inflicts Fire damage to players within 8 yards and fires off Sheep Shrapnel in several directions.
  - Sheep Shrapnel — Players struck are knocked back, suffer Fire damage and addition Fire damage every 2 sec for 10 sec. This effect stacks.
Gigavolt Charge — Mekkatorque sticks a target with a volatile energy charge that inflicts Nature damage every 1 sec for 15 sec. When Gigavolt Charge expires, it triggers a Gigavolt Blast that strikes all targets within line of sight of the victim. In Mythic difficulty, Gigavolt Charge leaves behind a radiation zone when it detonates.

Stage Three: Hyperdrive![]

Hyperdrive — Increases Attack Speed by 30% and periodically launches Hyperdrive Discharge at several players inflicting Nature damage.
Electroshock Strikes — Each of Mekkatorque's melee attacks inflict additional Nature damage.
- Electroshock Amplification — Each consecutive melee attack against the same target increases the damage of Electroshock Strike by 15%. This effect stacks. When Mekkatorque switches to a new target, Electroshock Amplification is reset.
Buster Cannon — Mekkatorque fires off his Buster Cannon. Players struck by it suffer Nature damage instantly, additional Nature damage every 1 sec, and their Haste is reduced by 100%. Lasts 10 sec.
