The Highmaul clan is an ogre clan found on Draenor. They are the main component of the Gorian Empire, and fought for generations against the Warsong clan.[1]
Background[]
As the main part of the Gorian Empire, the Highmaul were forced to work with the Iron Horde during the war in Draenor.
The Highmaul are known to value Artifact Fragments, the fragments of lost artifacts from the ancient ogre empire of Ashran, used as currency by the Alliance and Horde on the island.
The Highmaul have an excavation underway at Stonecrag Gorge.[2]
During the course of the war, Highmaul sorcerers conducted sinister arcane rites that caused communal lethargy to spread across Alliance and Horde forces. The two factions managed to trace it back to the sorcerers, and they sent soldiers to put an end to the rites.[3]
