Hixin was one of Warlord Gurthan's advisers. He used a parchment written by the Warlord that was never sent in order to trick his rival Taskmaster Xuexing into going using a tested weapon against the mantid earlier than intended. When the Taskmaster died in the battle Hixin tried to play it off as the Xuexing becoming overconfident in his abilities, however, he fell silent when the Warlord pulled out the parchment used in the deception. When Hixin tried to plead his case, Warlord Gurthan did not hesitate to order his quilen to kill his former adviser.[1]
