Trivia[]
- This pet was originally labeled as the reward from the [Victory in Hillsbrad] achievement during WoW's 10-year anniversary. It was removed from the achievement before the event went live, but re-appeared on the patch 6.1 PTR as the achievement reward once again. This caused some confusion as it seemed to imply that the pet would be rewarded retroactively, but Bashiok later clarified the situation by saying that it was old data, that Hogs would in fact not be rewarded from Victory in Hillsbrad, and that Blizzard had not yet decided when/if the pet would be available, or from what source. Hogs was finally added to the game as a Darkmoon Faire achievement reward in patch 6.2.
- When idle, Hogs will occasionally lay down and fall asleep for a few moments before waking up again.
