Horace Alder is a human mage trainer located on the top floor of Jaina's Tower on Theramore Isle in Dustwallow Marsh. If he seems distracted it's cause he fears for the men of Northwatch, and wished he had sent some of his students to aid them.
Horace Alder was part of the human forces in the Stonetalon Mountains during the Third War. His base was attacked by the Warsong clan led by Grommash Hellscream.[1]
It's unknown if he survived the Attack on Theramore Isle.

- In Reforged, his hero unit is randomized with Archmage Xylem and Archmage Tervosh, so each may be part of either the Stromgarde Brigade or Human Expedition on a playthrough of Cry of the Warsong. In Where Wyverns Dare, one of the three is chosen randomly for the Lordaeron Brigade faction.
