The Howling Crag pale is a group of pale orcs that dwell at the Howling Crag in the Spires of Arak. They live in caves underneath a rylak breeding ground.

Unlike the other pale who seem to simply dwell underground and be an occasional nuisance to the locals, these pale appear to have a form of community where each learn a form of magic.^[1]

Apexis civilization[]

One of the underground chambers has a relic long lost from the Apexis civilization of old. It is from here where the solar curation started. Several Apexis Assault Constructs lie dormant in this chamber, guarding a Stored Projection. Using an [Apexis Keystone] on four Apexis Pylons which were protecting the projection, an adventurer was able to free and dismantle the projection from it spread more of its solar corruption.^[1]

Ritual of the Void[]

In another cave at the Howling Crag, an Insane Nullifier has gathered several pale in order to conduct a unknown void ritual that would make him into a voidlord known as an Empowered Nullifier. An adventurer went down below to stop it.^[1]

Ritual of Siphoning[]

In another cave at the Howling Crag, a Vile Siphonmaster is absorbing the energies around him the help of some pale in order to try and gain the form of a giant spider known as an Empowered Siphonmaster. An adventurer went down below to stop it.^[1]

Ritual of Destruction[]

In another cave at the Howling Crag, a Crazed Obliterator is absorbing the energies around him the help of some pale in order to try and grow into a dire Empowered Obliterator. An adventurer went down below to stop it.^[1]
