Humar the Pridelord is a Template:Hostile level 23 elite rare mob cat found just outside of Ratchet in the Barrens. Hunters often seek to tame Humar because of his unique coloration.
Tips on Taming Humar the Pridelord
- As you are leaving Ratchet, look to the right. The plain with trees right on the cliff above Ratchet is where Humar lives. He is under the largest tree ([62, 33])and sticks out like a sore thumb, can't miss him. Just keep your eyes on the ground of the tree shadow, that's his spawn point. Unless of course he isn't there.
- It is said that his spawn rate ranges from around 8-12 hours after every time he's tamed or killed; waiting for him could prove to be annoying because of that. Climbing on the tree may be a good camping point.
- Many hunters seek to tame Humar, so you could have some competition.
- Taming him is sometimes unsuccessful even if it is done correctly. Simply freeze-trap and try again if that happens.
- If you grow bored, you could always go for
Echeyakee, a white lion only available through a Horde quest in the Crossroads. - Humar is one of the very few elite cat that is truly unique, no other cat uses the same skin.
