Humboldt Conflagration.
The Humboldt Conflagration[43, 23] is an area of the Twilight Highlands, located in a small valley between Glopgut's Hollow and the Ruins of Drakgor, and northwest of Thundermar. This was the site of the former Wildhammer settlement of Humboldt's Stead.
During the years, Humboldt's Stead's worst problems were caused by the Glopgut ogres up on the nearby ridge. Then the Twilight's Hammer came and in an instant set the whole valley ablaze destroying the settlement and its surroundings, tough survivors manage to escape. The town was overrun by unbound fire elementals led by an elemental ascendant known as Magmalord Falthazar.[1][2]
