Huntsman Leopold is an undead now located in Tyr's Hand. He was formerly a level 60 elite quest giver at Light's Hope Chapel who would build the Cryptstalker Armor.

History[]

Leopold is the shrewder brother of Houndmaster Loksey, one of the leaders of the Scarlet Monastery. He was sent to Light's Hope (though, as Leopold himself states, Loksey was almost sent instead) as part of the Scarlet Crusade's reluctant alliance with the Argent Dawn. Leopold is of the opinion that Loksey can't even take care of his own hounds, much less represent the Crusade - which is probably why Leopold was sent instead.

After the Cataclysm, he somehow became undead and relocated to Tyr's Hand where he is targeted by the Brotherhood of the Light.

Black Arrow — Fires a Black Arrow at the target, increasing all damage done by you to the target by 6% and dealing Shadow damage over 15 sec
Explosive Shot — Inflicts weapon damage and additional Fire damage to an enemy and any of its nearby allies.
Shoot — Shoots at an enemy, inflicting Physical damage.
Snake Trap — Place a trap that will release several venomous snakes to attack the first enemy to approach. The snakes will die after 5 sec. Trap will exist for 1 min

The preternatural ability of the crypt fiend to hunt and kill its foe is one studied and vaunted by men in my profession. I, myself, have slain thousands of the beasts in my crusade to rid this world of Scourge.

While I loathe the crypt fiend for its merciless nature, its abilities must be admired. It has a job and it does it - very well.

I have discovered a use for the carapace of the crypt fiend and its various body parts. I am able to fashion an extremely light and very deadly set of armor by combining the fragments with some of the desecrated magical armors lost in Naxxramas.

Where can I find crypt fiend parts, Leopold?

Those filthy beasts are all over the place.

If you prefer hunting outdoors, you'll find most of them around Plaguewood and Terrordale, with a good concentration of them in the Terrorweb tunnel. They are also likely to appear at almost any Scourge encampment in the Eastern Plaguelands.

If you're a hearty dungeon crawler, you'll find a good lot of them in Stratholme and a few of the necrofiend variety in Scholomance.
