Ice Guard is attached to head and leg armor to enchant the item with frost resistance.

Ice Guard is a quest reward from the quest The Ice Guard which starts with Mataus the Wrathcaster at Light's Hope Chapel in Eastern Plaguelands. To complete the quest, you must turn the following items to Mataus the Wrathcaster:

10x [Insignia of the Crusade]
30

Notes

Insignias of the Crusade can be obtained by turning:
- 30x [Bone Fragments] to Rohan the Assassin
- 30x [Crypt Fiend Parts] to Huntsman Leopold
- 30x Savage Fronds to Rayne
- Various crafted items from Craftsman's Writs to Dispatch Commander Metz
Cannot be attached to another player's armor through the trade window.
