Objectives

Description

Illidan's immortal demon soul is lost somewhere in the vastness of the Twisting Nether. Contacting him risks much, the Nether is full of creatures of unimaginable power and appetites. But, it must be done if we are to move forward.

The ritual can be performed using the nether crucible. Make the blood offering, <name>.

Progress

All that is left is to make the blood offering. Then, we will see what the future holds for the Illidari.

Notes

The dialogue will vary somewhat depending on whether you chose Altruis the Sufferer or Kayn Sunfury as your second-in-command.

If Altruis:

Illidan Stormrage says: <Name>, I have been expecting you, though not the traitor, Altruis.

Altruis the Sufferer says: Illidan.

Illidan Stormrage says: No matter. There is little time.

If Kayn:

Illidan Stormrage says: <Name>, I have been expecting you. Ah good... Kayn Sunfury.

Kayn Sunfury says: My lord.

Illidan Stormrage says: There is little time. Listen closely.

Illidan's speech then continues on for both:

Illidan Stormrage says: I entrusted the duplicitous Akama with planning the campaign against the Legion.

Illidan Stormrage says: He alone knows every detail. You will need his counsel if you are to succeed.

Illidan Stormrage says: You must also regain the Sargerite Keystone to invade the Legion's worlds.

Illidan Stormrage says: Find out where the Wardens hid it away.

Illidan Stormrage says: We have attracted attention. I must move.

The image of Illidan Stormrage's soul begins to run and sometimes uses Eye Beam.

Illidan Stormrage says: You will not be able to contact me like this again. The Illidari are now yours, <name>.

The image fades.
