Improved Aspect of the Hawk (5 ranks) Beast Mastery, Tier 1 While Aspect of the Hawk or Dragonhawk is active, all normal ranged attacks have a 10% chance of increasing ranged attack speed by 3/6/9/12/15% for 12 sec.

Improved Aspect of the Hawk increases ranged haste by 3/6/9/12/15% based on number of talent points spent. Useful skill in endgame raiding as every auto shot fired has a chance to substantially increase DPS for a period of time. The haste buff stacks with [Rapid Fire], and as such many hunters elect to sure both these skills at the same time for a short period of high DPS.

Tips

• Stacks with all other ranged haste effects, including [Bloodlust], [Rapid Fire] and [Serpent's Swiftness].

Patch changes

• Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Removed.
  
• Hotfix (2009-04-16): Improved Aspect of the Hawk should no longer allow Rapid Regeneration^[sic] to provide additional mana beyond the intended scope of the ability.
  
• Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): Now has a new spell effect.
  
• Patch 2.0.1 (2006-12-05): Now has a 10% chance to increase attack speed by 3/6/9/12/15%.

  Old version: 1/2/3/4/5% chance to increase attack speed by 30%.
  

• Patch 1.10.0 (2006-03-28): The buff from this talent has had its duration increased from 8 seconds to 12 seconds. Note that the haste it provides does not begin until the second shot after the triggering shot. This change is to compensate for that delay.
