Objectives

Enter the Emerald Dream and retrieve G'Hanir.

Description

This bed will be yours for the deep slumber that will usher you into the Dream.

Once you are comfortable, drink of the moonwater you brought. I will guide you from there.

Quickly, now - with every passing moment G'Hanir slips further into darkness.

Delving into the Dream with such darkness encroaching is no simple task, one few druids dare attempt, but I'm afraid your journey is far from over.

Notes

Upon accepting the quest:

Naralex says: You still have the moonwater, yes? Good, good! Then you are ready.

Step on the bedroll and drink the moonwater.

Naralex says: Now just relax and focus your mind on the Dream. I will guide your spirit from here.

You will appear in the same place, but in a phased version of the barrow den.

Naralex says: Can you hear me, <name>?

Naralex says: G'Hanir rests at the Circle of Spirits above, but it oozes Nightmare into the barrow den. You must hurry before you succumb to the corruption!

Remember to heal yourself! Healing yourself pushes back the Nightmare Corruption bar (G'Hanir is oozing dark energy. If you become too corrupt you will awaken suddenly from the Emerald Dream! Your healing spells will reduce your corruption). If it fills completely, you will wake up back in Naralex's room and quest progress will reset.

Corrupted

Naralex says: I urge you to be cautious. You must not let the Nightmare overcome you.

Naralex says: Take care! I can feel the Nightmare encroaching on your mind!

First, get to the upper level with the pond. There is a druid trapped there.

Bashana Runetotem yells: Someone... anyone! I can't escape these roots!

Dispel the roots to free Bashana, and kill Haunting Nightmares around.

Bashana Runetotem says: I thought I was done for!

Bashana Runetotem says: I'd prefer to avoid these horrors. Let's sneak past them!

The Nightmare vines blocking the passage are destroyed by Bashana, allowing you to proceed.

Bashana Runetotem says: The path is blocked! I think I can clear it out.

Bashana Runetotem says: That did it! You go on ahead. I'll deal with things down here.

Naralex says: Are you alright? I think you're past the worst of it.

Avoid Congealed Nightmares.

When you exit the barrow den, Tainted Tenders are present. Naralex will contact you again.

Naralex says: You're nearly there! Just stay focused!

Approach the Circle of Spirits which gives the Tranquility buff. Lyessa Bloomwatcher stands there with the corrupted G'Hanir floating in the middle.

Lyessa Bloomwatcher yells: Please help! I can't hold the corruption back much longer!

Click on the staff and loot  [Corrupted G'Hanir, the Mother Tree]. It will be automatically equipped.

Lyessa Bloomwatcher says: I would have surely been overwhelmed if you had not arrived. Thank you.

Lyessa Bloomwatcher says: Let us reconvene in the physical world.

Upon waking up:
