Objectives[]

Obtain the Fists of the Heavens.

Description[]

This stone is saturated with elemental power, possibly the remnant of the magic used against Irmaat!

If you went outside and held the stone aloft, it should unleash the stone's essence as a mighty whirlwind. So potent a windstorm could carry you and your companion all the way to Skywall!

If the hand blades of Irmaat, the Fists of the Heavens, are as powerful as the old tales say, they would certainly be found there.

On accept:

Li Li Stormstout says: Oh! Magic!!! Hurry up, let's see what it does!

Go outside and use Essence of the Whirlwind, which will take you to Skywall.

Stage 1: Into the Skies[]

Follow Li Li and protect her from the dangers of Skywall.
  • Protect Li Li from the dangers of Skywall

Upon arrival you and Li Li are in whirlwinds, then lands shortly afterwards with Rough Landing.

Li Li Stormstout yells: Get me out of this things!
Li Li Stormstout says: Ohhhh... My head still feels like it's spinning!
Li Li spots the nearby Lesser Sandlings, Howling Winds and an Image of Typhinius.
Li Li Stormstout says: What's going on over there? Hello? Hi!
Image of Typhinius yells: Mortals, in MY domain? They must not disrupt my plans! Slaughter them!
Li Li Stormstout says: They don't look so happy to see us.

Kill the mobs, and afterwards Li Li turns her attention to a nearby ramp, blocked by tornadoes.

Li Li Stormstout says: Hmm... These tornadoes simply won't do.
Li Li Stormstout says: Wanna see a trick my uncle Chen taught me?

Stage 2: Running In The Clouds[]

Li Li has ran off ahead! Catch up with her.
  • Catch up to Li Li
Li Li spins around, clearing a path.
Li Li Stormstout says: Wheeeee! Bet you can't catch me!

Follow Li Li and get in the green tornadoes that apply a stacking buff, increasing movement speed.

Stage 3: A Shocking Development[]

Your foes are using the Stormtouched Orbs to empower themselves. Destroy the orbs and break through the Raging Winds.

Li Li Stormstout says: Pretty neat huh? Look at those big sparkling orbs! I wonder what happens if we poke one?

Try to disable a Stormtouched Orb first, then kill the mobs (added Storm Cloud) that it is powering, as it gives a buff that increases damage done. If possible let them wander away from it.

Li Li Stormstout says: Hey, it's that big ugly guy again.
Image of Typhinius yells: Puny mortals, you tread in MY realm now! There is no one to save you!
Li Li Stormstout says: Blah, blah blah! you sure do talk a lot.
Image of Typhinius yells: Insolent whelps! Witness the powers at my command! Alburq wa Alra'ed hiyah!

Kill the Scion of Typhinius.

Image of Typhinius says: A small victory! Enjoy it while you can!

Stage 4: Against The Storm[]

Typhinius has summoned his servants, survive the assault!
  • Defeat the minions of Typhinius (4)
Image of Typhinius yells: Come forth, servants of the storm! Defend your master!
Kaeled yells: These intruders will fall by my hand!
Image of Typhinius yells: Na'ser! Answer your masters[sic] call!
Na'ser yells: As you command, Lord Typhinius.
Image of Typhinius yells: Unacceptable! Melezan, destroy them or I will cast your miserable essence to Deepholm!
Melezan yells: As my master wills!
Image of Typhinius yells: These mortals will not die! Zaurac, defend your master!
The storm dragon Zaurac appears and circles the area, then lands.
Li Li Stormstout yells: Holy smokes! Dragon!

Engage the dragon, and on low health it flies off.

Li Li Stormstout says: It's taking off!
The storm dragon struggles for a while, then lands on the platform again.
Li Li Stormstout says: Or not.

Stage 5: Dragon Wrangling[]

You've weakened the Storm Dragon. Leap upon the beast and use it to reach Typhinius.
  • Leap upon Zaurac

Jump on the storm dragon and fly off.

Li Li Stormstout yells: Oh... hold on! I'll... I'll figure out some way to follow you! Just hold on!

Stage 6: The Tyrant of Skywall[]

  • Defeat Typhinius

Upon landing on the platform where Typhinius is:

Li Li Stormstout says: Do me a favor and NEVER tell Uncle Chen I was this high up. Okay?
Typhinius yells: Are all of my servants weaklings? Fine, I shall end you myself!

Upon engaging Typhinius:

Typhinius says: My winds shall rip you apart!
Li Li Stormstout says: Whoa! This guy is, like, super tough! Do you think we can beat him?

On low health:

Li Li Stormstout says: Yeah, you got this!

On defeat:

Li Li Stormstout says: That was awesome!! I was like, "Oh no!" And you were like, "leave it to me!"

Final Stage: Fists of the Heavens[]

The Fists of the Heavens are yours, take them.
  • Take the Fists of the Heavens
Li Li Stormstout says: This has been a fantastic adventure! We explored the desert, punched a dragon in the face, and even got you something shiny!
Li Li yawns.
Li Li Stormstout says: All this adventuring's making me sleepy. Let's head back to the Wandering Isle.

Interact with Li Li's Kite to return to the Wandering Isle.

After completing the quest, head outside and back into the Temple of the Five Dawns for the followup quest.
