Iron Trench
The Iron Trench[46.8, 59] is located in southern Maldraxxus, between the Theater of Pain, the House of the Chosen, and the Seat of the Primus. It is bordered to the east by the Valley of a Thousand Legs.
This ancient battlefield is strewn with the remains of countless failed attacks upon the Seat of the Primus by forces which threatened the Shadowlands[1] as well as an attempted coup attempt against the Primus himself.[2] It also contains a number of Faded Epitaphs dedicated to fallen Necrolord heroes.[3] The necromantic energies unleashed by the countless battles waged here has coalesced into a number of deathwalkers.[4]
