Ironbound Brutes are troggs encountered throughout the Heritage of Gnomeregan questline. Initially, during [50-70] A Tundra Conundrum and onwards, several are seen in the Geyser Fields and atop the Fizzcrank Pumping Station in the Borean Tundra, with some banging on pipes or roaming the area in the company of the smaller Ironbound Scrapthrowers. At the end of [50-70] Gnomercy! and onwards, other Ironbound Brutes are seen on the Terrace of the Makers in the Storm Peaks, trying to rush G.E.A.R.'s position but finding little luck due to the rangers' electrical fence, which transforms all brutes who run into it into turkeys that die instantly or Ironbound Fowl that keep running mindlessly forward to their deaths. Finally, during [50-70] For Gnomeregan!, waves of Ironbound Brutes appear from the sides of the Forge of Wills in the Halls of Stone to battle Emaedi Autoblast and Fizzi Tinkerbow while the troggs' master Telzo Sparkspanner fights Cog Captain Winklespring and the player character.
