Ironforge Mountain[1][2][3] is the largest of the various mountains constituting Khaz Modan. It is located in central Khaz Modan, north of Dun Morogh and southwest of the Wetlands.
In the RPG[]
Ironforge Mountain (or the Ironforge Mountains)[4] is the site of both the dwarven capital city of Ironforge and gnomish capital of Gnomeregan.[5][6] Loch Modan lies in the foothills of this mountian and the Stonewrought Dam traps the snowmelt from it, creating a massive lake.[7]

- It would seem that the Explorers' League managed to scale Ironforge Mountain at some point in time. At the very peak is an intact Explorers' League banner, and the remains of what may be an unfortunate explorer who never returned safely.
- Those with a
[Flight Master's License], or those utilizing the flight paths around the area, can observe some of the great views and surprises on the mountain. There is a troll camp, a family of Black Bears, an Ironforge Guard near the main gate of Ironforge, and the infamous Dun Morogh airfield.
