The Ironforge Royal Treasury is the stored wealth of the Bronzebeard government of the Kingdom of Ironforge. It is kept well guarded within the city of Ironforge itself, and remains an important part of the nation's continued functionality. As its name suggests, it is principally at the disposal of the monarch of Ironforge, or under the current circumstances, the Council of Three Hammers. All ingots and pieces in the treasury are stamped with Ironforge's royal seal, making them easy to trace.[1]
Despite its importance, the treasury's security has been compromised in the past, on one occasion by the Mosshide tribe of gnolls from the Wetlands who made off with eight ingots. The Ironforge Guard are responsible for safekeeping the Royal Treasury, and can be dispatched to recover its assets in the field if the need arises.[2]
