Ironwall Rampart during Death Rising.
The Ironwall Rampart overlooks the Valley of Fallen Heroes. It is located south of The Shadow Vault in Icecrown.
The rampart dominates the fields below on all sides, and according to both Thassarian and Koltira Deathweaver this rampart must be taken before the army can advance to Icecrown Citadel, which is why they send the player to kill the cultist overseer there, Grimkor the Wicked and place barricades in the valley below to aid the assault.
During Death Rising, the Argent Crusade secured and used this area as a forward base.[1] The camp was occasionally under attack by Scourge forces.
