This article contains lore taken from Warcraft novels, novellas, or short stories.

Iskar was an orc from the Warsong clan and the advisor to Grommash Hellscream some time before the Third War. He oversaw Thrall's tests to decide if he would receive an audience with Grom. First, Thrall had to beat three of the clan's finest warriors, and Iskar was pleased when Thrall spared them. However, his next test required Thrall to kill a human child who the clan had captured earlier, which Thrall refused. Iskar prepared to set the clan's warriors on Thrall when Hellscream intervened. He reprimanded Iskar for allowing the capture of a child who could be tracked back to them. He also waved away Iskar's concerns at Thrall's reluctance to kill, pointing out that senseless bloodshed had not benefited the Warsong clan in the long run.[1]

His status is unknown.

Note[]

  • During the trial of Garrosh Hellscream, Thrall remembered the encounter with Iskar, the human boy, and Grommash.[2]
