Issue Reporter is the small UI that is available during the alpha, beta, and test phases of an expansion or a patch. It is used to report bugs or a confusion on what to do in a certain situation. It was first introduced during the Battle for Azeroth alpha. With the Rise of Azshara PTR, tooltips now show a blue "Press X to submit a bug for this" at the bottom in order to report a bug about a specific NPC, achievement, spell, or an item.[1] The default keybinding is F6.
Trivia[]
- During the Battle for Azeroth alpha, it was originally called Test Feedback. It was called the Bug Reporter since and up to the PTR patch 9.2.5.
- During the patch 2.2.0 PTR, there was a form of providing feedback as displayed on item tooltips.
