Isteth was a night elf who sought out Illidan Stormrage in Outland to fight the Burning Legion. She had lost all three of her children to the Legion during the Third War, and carried her baby's corpse across her chest. She would frequently scream throughout the night, and once killed a blood elf who tried to silence her.[1] After undergoing the rites to become a demon hunter, she threw herself from the battlements of Karabor out of horror at what she had become.[2]
