Ivald's Ruin
Ivald's Ruin is an excavation site found northeast of Nifflevar in the Howling Fjord.[78.6, 45.4]
In the ruins, there is a massive statue with a hand sticking up out of the rocky soil, holding a torch aloft. During the war against the Lich King, the iron dwarves have taken over the site, preventing further excavation. The ruins imply the work of titans.[1]
After the war against the Jailer, the brothers Bronzebeard reported that the site is still under the control of the iron dwarves, who attacked them when they tried to approach the artifacts there.[1]
