Initially encountered by Maiev, Tyrande Whisperwind, and Malfurion, Kael agrees to help stop Illidan from blowing up the world in exchange for escorting his supply caravan headed to Dalaran through Scourge controlled territory. Eventually he would align himself and his people with the demon hunter to find a cure for his people's magic addiction.
