Kaelynara Sunchaser is a blood elf mage who traveled to Draenor with the Sunsworn. She was the apprentice of Magister Astalor Bloodsworn, though an unspecified incident caused him to lose faith in her abilities, and he dismissed her from his service on the grounds of incompetence.
Astalor sent Kaelynara back to Azeroth with a coldly-worded letter, but she instead took over the Jorune Mine with the intention of absorbing the great magical power there. Archmage Elandra of the Kirin Tor and Manduil Skycaller of the Sunsworn both arrived to stop her, the latter to ensure her actions don't cost the Sunsworn the trust of the Auchenai.[1]

What exactly Kaelynara did for Astalor to deem her grossly incompetent is unknown. She may have been the one responsible for the Frenzied Golem's mishandling; the blood golem was enchanted with arcane power, but went on a blind rampage and killed several Sunsworn defenders in Liadrin's Watch.
She may be related to Auric and Gilveradin Sunchaser.
