Keel Harbour — Keel Harbor, Ruins of Gilneas.

Keel Harbor is a small harbor in central Gilneas, west of Gilneas City. It is a quest hub in which the Gilneans give another attempt at repelling the Horde invaders. The worgen adventurers arrive here after the Battle for Gilneas City, where they regroup with the other survivors and their night elf allies. After the combined forces have dealt with the Horde reinforcements, they escape from the doomed land to Darnassus.

Later, the 7th Legion led by Halford Wyrmbane docked the X-2 Pincer at the Harbor. While the Horde adventurer scouted the submarine,^[1] the Alliance destroyed the Forsaken Forward Command, and the Horde has been routed from Gilneas as a whole.^[2] At some point, the entire kingdom was abandoned by both the Horde and Alliance, likely including Keel Harbor.

As a shipbuilding term, keel is a long beam laid at the bottom of hull and going through almost whole ship.
Keel Harbor may be also a reference to German port city of Kiel (pronunciation the same as Keel), which is one of the biggest harbors and shipbuilding centers in Europe.
