Keeper Orremin is a keeper of the grove who watched over a hidden valley in the Stonetalon Mountains which contained a rare plant used for medicines and brews.
History[]
A few years ago, Orremin had been traversing the Emerald Dream when he had been contacted by his sisters, two dryads, who had felt a wound in the land. He ran as swiftly as he could to a hidden valley in the Stonetalon Mountains and found a number of goblin machines deforesting the area. Chen Stormstout had gone to the valley to find a rare plant for his beers, indellium hops, and Orremin watched as the pandaren destroyed a fair amount of the machinery on his own. Orremin helped Chen by entangling the goblins in roots and opening crevasses for the machines to fall beneath the earth.
After the goblins had been fought off, only two plants of indellium remained. Orremin offered Chen a handful of hops, but he declined after realizing how rare it was and that even that small amount of flowers could help with the recovery of the species. Chen ventured off to the Ruins of Eldarath in Azshara. Orremin hid the plants behind an illusion to allow them to regrow and took a stand as a protector of the valley.
Years later, near the end of the War against the Lich King, Orremin found two more pandaren visiting his valley: Strongbo and Chen's niece Li Li, to whom he told the story of his meeting with Chen.
Orremin declared that his time guarding the valley was done, for he had to return to the Emerald Dream and confront a darkness that was growing within. He then asked that the two of them grant him a request: to accept the same amount of indellium hops that he had offered to Chen and brew it into a beer as Chen would have done, as his way of saying thank you.[1]
